Hungarian broker paychecks shrink 20% since 2007

Hungarian brokers earn more than one-fifth less than four years earlier, business daily Napi Gazdasag said on Friday.

The paper found in its own survey that payroll costs of independent Hungarian brokerages fell to less than HUF 4.3bn in 2011 from HUF 5.5bn in 2007.

The paper noted that turnover of the Budapest Stock Exchange fell even more during the period.
