Creditors and suppliers launched liquidation procedures against 272 construction companies in August, 70pc more than in the same month a year earlier, Opten, which compiles information on companies, told MTI on Tuesday.
There were 283 new construction companies established in Hungary in August, well below the average in the previous years, Opten said.
The number of voluntary liquidations came to 185 in August.
